Hindware Fraud! After Sales Service is non-existent! Nightmarish situation!

I had purchased a Hindware Calisto 50 L Desert Air Cooler (FSN: AICFERMY7WWWAZYZ HSN/SAC: 8479600) on April 1, 2021 from Flipkart.
Within 1 month of the purchase of the product in April 2021, the pump stopped working and as monsoon set in early in 2021, I waited before the repair request and filed the request ACR1900650 on January 17, 2022 so that the cooler can be ready for use this summer (2022). After multiple calls to the consumer care of Hindware, the service request is never provided. Instead on March 19, 2022 after 90 days from the original complaint, I was sent a text message saying “Dear Customer, your call No ACR 1900650 has been cancelled per your consent. In case the issue is not resolved, please call 1800-103-3300/+91-8069-166-666. HINDWARE”
When I filed the complaint again on the same day (March 29, 2022) , a new complaint was opened at ACR2016354 and on March 31, 2022 a technician came with an old pump which was broken from the top and replaced the existing pump. When I asked why a broken and old pump was being installed as a replacement, he smiled and said, your warranty is valid only for a few days and it will work until then. But the pump stopped within 10 minutes before the technician could leave the premises. Now the warranty expired on April 1, 2022 and the service center (Phone number +91-90301-12267) refuses to do service. The HINDWARE customer care keeps on saying the complaint is already registered. The technician Shamsher Khan (Ph +91-62999-35223) would not pick up my call.

it was not. We are all wise in the hindsight. Our local guy charges 1000 for 3 months cooler rental. In the hindsight; i should have just rented.
And pump costs 300, the person who’d install will charge 400, it’s a 700 int proposal not 100.
It’s okay. I was not hoping for any help from you guys, so your ridicule doesn’t bother me that much. It was a cautionary tale for others, good luck with that!

Just wanted to say that there’s nothing much brand would do once the product is out of warranty (for whatever reason, valid or invalid).
Only consumer redressal services would help (if ever)
Same thing happened with my parents but on Eureka Forbes aqua guard bought from offline reliance electronic store.
They weren’t this terrible before but from last year, they’re horrible. Thankfully, an old plumber knew how to clean and fix the filter.

OP, only thing left for you is file case in consumer forum and buy local replacement pump. Your case has merit and will surely win, but when is the question, until then can live with locally bought pump.
i had bought it, installed it myself once some of you suggested. It’s working fine and that’s why i have now lost interest in what the company is doing. And i know as a matter of fact that it would never be serviced. One can talk to these service centre thugs once and understand this.
Same is with symphony, i purchased cooler and pump is not working its been 10 days since i requested for repair but no clue

I have bought 36 litres one and the motor was gone within 1 month, raised the ticket in hindware app and they replaced it the second day. Maybe in your area the service is not good
I think you are having trouble understanding other people’s difficulties. A chain is as strong as its weakest link. Rate of a chain of chemical reaction is determined by its slowest step. A shirt will fray from its weakest thread after the wash. So, you having a good experience doesn’t matter at all. The worst experience is the only thing that matters.
You cannot cross a river with average depth of 5 feet on feet because at its maximal depth it will be 20 feet and you’d be swept away. So even average customer experience does not matter.
Practically speaking, you have the complaint number in the top message, here are the rogue actors, why don’t you call and follow up for me and you’d soon change your mind. Brace yourself to be mistreated, harassed, abused and above all, NO ACTION.

hindware is a closed system company .. avoid such company. Bought tap for 2500 and now no part in local market that fits as part size is different then the usual ones. I can not be waiting for hindware guys to show for my bath. So replaced the tap!

Try filing complaint on consumerhelpline. gov. in with all these email addresses. They will come back to you requesting for closure. Had similar experience with GM and they got back to me after raising complaint.
