I will also do a namaskar to the Kanchi Lizard photo at home if it falls on me, before washing off as OP suggested.

If it falls on head the pathogens on Lizard that OP mentioned will infect the person severely and kill the person.

The trick to make them run out of the house is to open the window, and then tap the wall behind the lizard with any long stick or long handle broom so it runs in the opposite direction towards the window and out of it. It is very scared of vibrations on the wall. That way you don't have to deal with killing it and cleaning the remains🤢

i do the  same  whenever they  are  in , I would let them  remain in the house for the  benefits  it has of insects  eating , but  family ladies will throw me out  then

Even I am an animal lover too and I help them whenever I can, I believe it is our duty to give back to nature since it gives us life. But that doesn't have to be at the discomfort of others. These so-called animal lovers just love cats and dogs and that too of some specific good-looking breeds. I try my best to help strays in any way I can, without affecting others with my actions.

There's a stray cat around my place that is very friendly and just wants people to feed it and play with it once in a while. I started feeding it a few months back and then it started following me to my place, which would surely cause trouble for my neighbours who would want the area around the place clean. So I started taking that cat a bit away from our place to feed it. This way it stays happy and nobody gets into any trouble.

So called  Dog / cat  lovers  feed  strays , thats  ok , but  they do cause inconvenience  to others even after asking them to  feed in the corner and little away from public passing arra  But  they feed  right at anybodys  society gates  , frequently used  paths  , outside garden gates etc. These  people are very arrogant and  challenge to  do whatever other can . They are not afraid of police also and always tell they can do nothing and its our right and freedom to do so. They have similar mentality  groups  connection .
Basically  they are some type of  psychological issues,  and hate  humans

In my area, there's another grave concern. Quite a few women bring Sugar, Wheat Flour and what not, to feed the ants in the Public Park.

As the belief goes, if ants are fed with sugar-mixed wheat flour, it removes all the problems & troubles and bring prosperity in their Lives.

I don't know whether the problems have been over in their lives or not, but we and our children are facing the consequences of lots of ants all around the Park now. Children are scared due to this problem.

Just because they love their pets? Yes, those people who think that pet owners are going to give them more priorities than their own pets should stay away from pet owners.

So to avoid such circumstances, it's best to teach our pets in the best possible manner, especially when someone goes through the trouble of informing you about such problems. I have seen pet dogs attacking kids of around 3-4 years of age, and I have also seen kids pelt stones at stray/pet dogs, it just shows that their parents/owners didn't teach them well. It's not about prioritizing anyone, humans or animals, both have the right to live peacefully.

Most of the times people are at fault. Cat is not going to stop being a cat in order to appease some people. Kids pelt stones and parents encourage it. When the animal attacks all hell breaks loose. And people need know that everything does not revolve around them. Living beings poop, smell, shed skin/hair. That's considered organic and it's for better good of others. And if something happens occasionally then one can easily scoop it and throw it away. Easy solution. No?

I personally not against  any bird / animal / insect  , the main problem  are Humans . Stray dogs Cats etc  become nuisance  when feeders idiotically feed them  on  busy road path ,society gates , etc even after request  to feed them in side corner.  The entire pathway gets littered with milk ,biscuits , etc together with there Poo  and SuSu .Dogs start gathering at the spot everyday automatically before time and start jumping and circling  on there lover arrival. These causes inconvenience  and people get afraid specially senior citizens  and children as road is used.  Private pet owners also bring them on roads to relieve  there Potty. Thats  the issue.

Easy food lets strays / birds   breed more ,causing further issues.

Humans  idotic  behaviour is to be blamed no matter if its love , affection ,generosity, charity.
