How did this happen, Amazon Prime

My order in Amazon was long overdue. Today i called them and they issued refund along with 1 month of prime extension.
It was a win win offer.
Now, after few hours after the call, i tried to check it, they extended it for more than 1 month.

once they cancelled my kindle unlimited subscription and could not offer any reason. I did not resubscribe. A month later, they gave me 3 months free if I resubscribe. I guess they have a policy of giving freebies when the fault lies with them?

Around 1 year ago my relative bought Adidas shoes(around 2300rs. I guess)from Amazon. After delivery he placed replacement request because shoes had black spots. No one came for pickup in whole one month. after one month i called their customer care.
Guess what? They issued full refund and told me that you can also keep shoes.

returnless refunds (without product pickup) ultimately trigger TRMS if certain ratio is breached.
and then, one can be at the mercy of the understanding or whims of any Risk Investigator or CAP people.
they are often over enthusiastic and the newbies are even eager to tell the world what they do.
to the systems or to CIS/CAP, some of whom work from home (Virtual Customer Support VCS), the actual reasons for concessions (prime extension for missed GDD, as per SOP, advance refund due to no pickup by ATS, goodwill GC in lieu of missed cashbacks) do not matter.

and since there is no direct mechanism for frontline CS or even with ECR, to help appeal the decisions of CIS/CAP, one runs the risk of lockout.
and if they want they can go Paypal like; on future accounts too.

They did what???! now I’m put through so much hassle just to return and get refund for fake edible oil for 839.

what about orders that are cancelled “on the way”, all of them happened during diff lockdown stages..
About 7 items were cancelled that way and got my refund.
Does this trigger their systems as fraud???
