How does tata sky tv recharge work?

Recharge with any amount it will renew on pro-rata basis and amount deduction will be on the basis of daily reduction.

So, if your pack is Rs. 4500 for a year, it will charge Rs. 12.33 per day (4500/365) unless you yourself change the pack.

Ok, so here is the exact details:

Supreme Sports Kids
Monthly (Rs 340) – which turns out to be 340*12 = 4080 rupees per year
Semi Annual (Rs 1930) – turns out to be 1930*2 = 3860 per yr
Annual (Rs 3740)

So clearly, if i look nothing else, i will save 340 rupees if i buy annual subscription and i will save 220 rupees if i buy semi annual recharge. What will I save if i buy 1000 rupees recharge? Which one should I opt for?
We have ignored credit card points, any existing recharge offers like Paytm, and time value of money / bank interests above.

If you buy Rs. 1000 recharge, you would save nothing. You need to recharge for Annual/Semi-annual pack from TataSky website or retailer. After which, you can recharge for any amount and then your subscription will be extended for a period equal to the amount you paid/recharged on the pro-rata basis.

If you want to save more you can recharge with offers like 100 cb on 100rc or 50cb on 100rc…like that.
last time I have recharged with gaana 50off coupons which gave me 10*50 means 500 free recharge in my tatasky account

If you have a 2nd house may be even in your village buy there a new tatasky connection on a different Sim Card as registered Mobile no.

After installation bring the box home and use it for 4-5 months on which ever promo they currently offer.

You will be flooded with calls from TS custcare to renew your old yearslypackage tell you are using dish tv now.

4-5months later you will be offered surpreme sports package for 1200 per year. Then buy years addon packs for english or entertainment channels.

6 months after you stop using the 2nd box you will be offer surpreme sports pack on that dth box.

Yes, I had a Tatasky connection lying in my old apartment unused, CC called me and was hell bend to sell the supreme/grand package(Rs.420/mth) for 2000 for an year. I refused but still the guy called me 3 times.

If you want an additional connection to bedroom the supreme sports pack will be far cheaper than a multi connection. Th e offer remain valid indefinitely so even 4 month s from now you can take thar offer.

For OP who doesn’t want this idea take the yealy subscription which. Protects you from price escallation for a year.

This is getting more confusing. Let’s say I have 500 rs in my paytm wallet and 500 in mobikwik, and annual suibscription costs 3740 rs. Can i recharge in bits using all 3 sources above or do i need to bay 3740 in 1 go from my bank account only?

Paying for the annual package in one go on Tata Sky’s website would be the most convenient.

But if you want to save money by using the tiny cashback offers, you can keep adding money to your account via Paytm/Mobikwik/Freecharge in small chunks. Once the account balance reaches 3740, you can call TS customer care and ask them to renew your subscription with the annual plan. They will deduct the cost of the annual plan from your account balance.

You use mobikwik + paytm + any Cashback credit + remaining amount to make it 4500 in total if that’s your package. After that call custcare and tell them you have the credit in the account. They will complete the years renewal while you are on th e phone itself. There should be no confusion.

I have one question regarding tatasky recharge.
I have paid to tata sky 483 rs for the channels I subscribe and I paid that on 12 july.today I have removed few channels .So I want to know how the balance will be calculated,will they refund my amount according to channels I deactivated?

I hope you understand what I am trying to ask.
