How is axis in handling chargebacks against Flipkart?

I had bought a laptop from Flipkart on 14th of January and wanted a replacement since it was a defective unit. Flipkart at first accepted the replacement request but then changed it to a return request citing that the seller did not have any more units to give as replacement. They took my request on 24th of January and gave deadline for technician visit by 7th Feb and Pickup by 13th Feb. On 8th Feb after complaining they skipped the technician visit as no one was coming to visit and jumped straight to the pickup step. On 9th of Feb i received message from Ekart that my return was cancelled as "customer chose to keep the product" . I complained to Flipkart again and they said the pickup for only that day has been cancelled since the courier partner had some issues and will definitely be picked up by 13th. Then now on 11th Feb when I checked my order history i can see my return has been cancelled on 10th of Feb at 4 am. All these communications between me and Flipkart happened through the Twitter Handle of Flipkart support. So now I'm looking to apply for chargeback against Flipkart but wanted to know how good is axis in processing chargebacks in the customer's favour as after this flipkart wouldn't be willing to help me.

It seems buying from FK is absolutely avoidable unless it is small items.

some Keyoard buttons dont register unless i press them multiple times and also I very noticeably see dead pixels on the screen as they are around the centre of the screen.

Disputes handling cannot be generalized? Depends on many factors

1. Your presentation of the case/facts
2.
Flipkart's response
3.
The bank officer that gives verdict 

Based on the details mentioned here, it clearly looks like an error at flipkart's end (Return cancellation) and the further escalation is missing (Twitter support didn't deny replacement either). Any bank expects the merchant / e-commerce partner to solve the disputes first (the reason why many banks don't accept / reject chargeback disputes within first few weeks from transaction date). AFAIK, with AXIS u got 60 days (from tx date) to file the dispute, talk to twitter support again / mail escalations team and if they deny replacement then proceed with the dispute

Yeap already messaged flipkart twitter team in the morning before posting this post , awaiting their response. Posted this just in case they deny return and I have to raise a chargeback.

Again, this seems to be another usual thing with flipkart. In my own case I received pickup cancellation 2 times(one day via sms, another day via email) incorrectly. Keep reminding them via email.

i had similar issues from buying laptop from Reliance stores offline.  They straight away cancelled my replacement or return request stating the Warranty / replacement policy is of OEM  Manufacturer,  Contact  OEM customer care. However after a lot  of communication with OEM  i received replacement from OEM by collection from Reliance stores offline.

Update - Flipkart account blocked without any resolution.

Now can i raise chargeback?

You should. Blocking account makes sense for Fraud related complaints (as a security measure) but not for their mess
