KU is worth only if you love reading. I have KU shared in 2 Kindle devices, one for me and one for my daughter. But I also download epub format books and use caliber to convert and sideload.

I love reading but it depends on free time which isn’t consistent. As you are already using calibre, do you de drm the Kindle unlimited books too?
