In my case they deduct the same amount as previously recharge plan (if main balance > plan amount)…
eg: If I did a 106 plan previously and have more main balance than 106. They deduct 106 and activate that plan. Same goes with 94 plan.

If you have sufficient balance ( same as your previous validity plan ) then automatically same will be activated after deduction from main balance

If less the previous plan, then ₹2 per 4 days will be deducted till you recharge or Balance become zero.

This is working for UP (E), Bihar, MH circle

@rajrocks I think I had cleared your doubt about it a month ago and yet you are confused with all this stuff.

Let me go again. BSNL has 2 way of extending validity. One isPV amount like if you are on Rs.49 plan and you balance on first day of GP1 is 49 then you will be charged Rs.49 from balance. If your balance is less than 49 say Rs.48.99 then you will be charged Rs.2 for 4 days OG validity.

People get confused is when this deduction actually happens? It happen on second day of GP1. Here is example:

Today is Nov 20 and suppose your 49 plan OG expiring today itself. You have 50 balance. Next day i.e on Nov 21st nothing will be deducted on first day of GPI. On Nov 22, Rs.49 will be deducted after 12 AM- 3 AM. Now if your balance was Rs.48.99 i.e less than 49 then on second day of GPI, Rs.2 will be deducted and you will get 4 Days OG validity i.e Nov 22-Nov 25. Now pn Nov 26, nothing will be deducted and on Nov 27, Rs.2 will be charged will Nov 27-30. It goes on like this. 4+1 then deduction again. So for 1 month you will get charged- 30/5*2= Rs.12

My 49 plan validity for my 2 BSNL sims expired on Aug 31st for both. Since then Rs.2 is deducting for extension for 4 days.
