city like Kolkata then it may be less then what you need in Mumbai or Delhi or Bangalore.

- Owned house ?
- Loans & Liabilities?
- Dependants?
- Current expenditure?
- Abilities at present?
- Health conditions of yours and all dependants?
Somebody will try to let you know how much you need to retire.
lastly if it’s only you who want to retire, leave all money and go to some ashram in tire 1 city of your liking .. 0 money needed.

I think you’re angry to see as I mentioned Kolkata as tier 2 city 🤪.
It was a economical hub once.
But it is good for nothing.

One need at least 1cr per head (family of four needs 4cr) in tier1 city.
tier 2 : 0.5cr per head
tier3: 0.25cr per head
