I’m not very happy cuz the products I wishlist had either same price or price increased ☹️
Even with coupon, it’s not much saving.
Is there any chance that they might lower price at the last sale day?
Any earlier experience?

It’s been good in my case. Purchased a gold coin which was already there in my cart at lower price. The price got increased by 2k even before I placed the order. Somehow the order went through at reduced price and is yet to be delivered. Effective price 24kt per gram is 4240 INR sunglasses

The price was 10835 until 12:15am or so and then increased by 2k. I checked out after the hike, still able to grab it with old price(likely bug) and 10% discount on top of it.

A question, do online gold stuff don’t have authenticity certificate or hallmark symbols usually?
A colleague of mine bought one coin from Bangalore refinery and there was nothing mentioned above.. she couldn’t return it as Amazon cc said it’s not fake, though they also said the same thing for hordes of fake Himalaya and Lakme products in my case.

Republic sale was there just like the puja sales. And I had a great shopping time before lots of heavy discount on floor cleaners, tea, roll on, lotion, surf, dishwasher, etc etc.
I would stock for min half the year on republic sale for the last 3 years.
Wasn’t expecting that same heavy discount this time but this time it’s nothing… 0
I just bought a biosilk shampoo with the beauty coupon. And some dry fruits, a book still on wait list for a price drop.

They come packed with brand packaging, something like laminated. Ofcourse a similar packaging material can be produced and the product inside can be tampered.

Authenticity certificate is part of their packaging. Also some suppliers like Candere is providing certificate (plastic card, ID card size)

The shipment also contains the invoice from brand (apart from amazon one). So all these put together can vouch for its quality/quantity.

Coming to my experience in exchanging for gold items, I exchanged couple of coins whlen purchasing jewelry items, and I didn’t face any issue. Some jewelry shops break the packing and melt the coin to check the purity, and some just rely on the brand packaging, proceed to redeem the value.

I also got to know when gold coins are exchanged in different brand outlets, at the end of the day/week/month, those outlets/brands exchange the respective coins and restock them. This way they will avoid making etc charges involved in melting/ making coin again etc.
