Hi, Got the below msg on WhatsApp stating someone has used my mobile number as reference to get the loan. The company is asking me to call him and ask him to get in touch with them and damn I really don't know the guy smile

our data isn't safe.I remember one time, my neighbourhood shopkeeper (who I don't even talk to) had taken a loan from a public sector bank and didn't submit the emi, then I got a call directly from the bank about it. I asked them,where did you get my number? They told they have it from their bank records(mapped by address given),it means they know your and if needed, can get your padosi ka number from their records(if you both have an account with them)...and I am still confused sometimes, how the hell it happened that out of nowhere I am getting loan recovery calls on behalf of my neighbour sweat_smile
