Anybody knows how to accept paypal payments?.. I have created bank account long back (for that 50% offer) and now somebody needs to send fund to my paypal account.

I have only my card linked to the address. When i try to send from my other paypal account, i am getting the below error:

Sorry, this recipient can’t accept payments right now.

Do i need to link my bank account? Please clarify.

Don’t think you would need a business account to receive funds. The other person can simply send it to the email address which is registered with that PayPal account. However, you will have to add and verify your bank account to receive the funds from PayPal to bank account.

Did i need to complete the KYC for receiving money?. Also, when the person sends the fund, will it be in Paypal Wallet or transferred directly to bank.

If it’s in Paypal Wallet, do we need to fill KYC to send it to bank?

Paypal has many restrictions for indian account. To receive payment from foreign, you will have to verify pan card and attach bank account (choose purpose code as well). To receive payment from indians, you will have to further pass verification and be a indian merchant.

You have to have a bank account attached as they cannot keep money in pp and transfer to bank within 24 hours.

Check with PayPal customer service. They will be able to check if anything additional needs to be done.

Hope you have added the bank account and verified it to receive funds.

Nope, you have to become merchant to be able to accept payment from indian paypal users.
Normal kyc is enough for foreign payment.

That is correct, you can accept money from Indian accounts unless you have a business account/ merchant
