Card code for RuPay Platinum Domestic debit card is *“REP”.
Some SBI branches or some SBI Saving accounts also offer free RuPay debit card without any charges.
What is DFS?
IOCL card working seamlessly with Amazon Pay load offer.
Cancel the card, when the card will issued and also told your branch reverse the card issuing charges.
Edit: Not sure why this card has high issuance/annual charges considering it is PSU bank while private banks offering it at Rs 200.

If you have huge SBI account balance then SBI by default issue you RuPay Platinum debit card on online IOCL RuPay apply through SBI net banking.
Note – Officially required 50k+ for RuPay Platinum but there is no guarentee you will get RuPay Platinum through online apply option
Anyone use this IOCL RuPay Platinum card for Airport lounge access ?
Airport lounge access is available on all SBI RuPay Platinum cards but SBI never mentioned it. I just want to make sure if someone has already used or not ?
I had applied for this card but I got Indian oil visa varient card 
Going to apply tomorrow at branch after hotlisting current Rupay Classic. Reading the above comments, I think writing the card code (IRP) beside the variant on the form is a wise action.
Why you hotlisted your old card ? after receive your card, you can hotlist your old card.
Correct me if I’m wrong given the following scenario:
1. I already have a temporary blocked visa card (through net banking, years ago)
2. CC says strictly 2 cards can be assigned per account and currently one is active one is the temporary blocked one.
3. CC says only one card active per network alloed. I already have a rupay classic active now.
4. I do not wish to mess much with SBI (nor I do currently) regards to permanently blocking the temporary blocked one.
5. Thus I’ve decided to permanently block the rupay classic and then apply for rupay platinum.
First apply for new RuPay Platinum debit card from SBI branch, after receive your new RuPay Platinum card then hotlist your old RuPay classic card from SBI net banking.
@abhishek012 please see point#3, you cannot have 2 active cards from same network (rupay here). Point#2, temporary blocked card is counted like an active card I think and that makes 2 cards already assigned to my account.
Or am I understanding something wrong? Anyone here with rupay classic and platinum active on same account simultaneously? Are you trying to mean something different?

Ok, hotlisted rupay classic permanently just now via yono app and got ticket no. and acknowledgement via sms. Let’s see how branch guys behave today… 🧐
@abhishek012 OK, here’s the SBI branch ordeal today:
Visited around 11am and asked for debit card request form, filled it up and wrote card type and code IRP and went to service manager’s desk, submitted after 2 people in front of me. He behaved in a cooperative manner and suddenly asked where I got the code, do I work in SBI? 😎 I said about a fictitious relative who has such card and gave me code. He accepted the form after checking and I left.
Within 30mins he called me and said code IRP is not applying on their system for my account. 🥴 He told me to ask my relative what kind of account he has. I told him will call after 5mins. Then I told that he’s unreachable and had given me 3 codes for rupay platinum and I’m messaging him the remaining 2 to try : RPJ and REP. I thanked him and he said will surely try those.
However, can folks already holding a rupay platinum share the account type they have? It’s visible in sbionline net banking account details page easily… So that I might tell him and maybe he’ll apply some tweaks in my account to issue the card.

Ok, update! Got a call at 6pm from the SBI service manager and confirmed request for RPJ card was accepted. 😀👌
Also had visited IDBI and submitted form for rupay platinum debit mentioning in writing on the form but the lady who was also very cooperative this time replied system will only take that request for premier accounts with MAB of 1L. Left the idea, don’t want to upgrade that account.

2 New SBI RuPay Platinum debit card apply codes from SBI branch -
1) SBI Electronic Platinum RuPay Domestic - code: EPR
I think this the Grey coloured RuPay Platinum, but code changed ( I am not sure)
2) SBI CSP RuPay Platinum - code: PRS
I think CSP means Corporate Salary Package accounts.
Other RuPay Platinum debit card codes are - "RPJ" for RuPay JCB Platinum debit card and "IRP" for IndianOIL RuPay Platinum.
Note - whoever wants to apply ask them to stay at branch and go out of branch if they are able to successfully apply, if not branch person will apply whatever they get in hand.

RPJ not working on Amazon offer and I got 1 IRP a while back for one account, but for other account, IRP giving error/no longer available. I waited at branch while staff person applied code one by one which I requested. EPR also not working. "Card issuance declined" or some similar error came up. After 2 cards failure, staff person was already very annoyed. I didn't have guts to ask him to apply for CSP. 😂

I made SBI employee to try 2 codes twice, His Superior ( she has to approve the queue and error is displayed in her system) was annoyed and said Platinum Card requires 1L AQB, I said I maintain good balance and look at my Balance now in a requesting tone, She was like 1L AQB..
Infact I asked the good Employee to raise a request for CSP card as well, but he thought he can/should apply that card for only CSP Accounts (He said Corporate Salary Account persons only).
I am trying to attain 50K AQB (as per twitter thread shared by @abhishek012 we need 50K AQB) for this quarter and will try in Oct 1st week.
I had RPJ and cancelled it thinking that error was displaying coz I already had a Rupay Platinum, I read in some threat that we can have 2 debit cards but not same type (and that employee warned/confirmed me before clicking on cancel)
Well in that account that gave all those denied messages, I have 2 lakh+ AQB yet it was denied but it's an SB Plus account, auto sweep enabled for it, I don't know if they has any bearing. The error message it gave was related to some "interest-enabled account" or something. 🙄 I will try applying from another SBI branch so the employees don't look at me as if they are ready to kill me. The person who applies for the card has way too much attitude problem, although his superior boss/madam who approves it is kind.

So besides me, who took SBI IOCL RuPay Platinum debit card last year in 2022 and when/which month? Since RuPay offer on Add Money will most like end (not 100% sure but 99% sure), have to think of hotlisting before annual charges are taken.

"My experience of getting SBI RuPay Platinum debit card was pretty easy. I told the branch staff member to apply for a debit card for my account (didn't have any active SBI debit card earlier), and he told me that there are separate days for Visa and RuPay. So basically if today is Visa day then he would be able to apply only for Visa/Visa platinum DC but the next day would be RuPay day so he would be able to apply for RuPay/RuPay Platinum DC.

Actually, he is right my cousin also work in SBI branch, 3-4 years back he also told me this thing. One day Visa, one day RuPay, one day Mastercard.
My cousin also told me other PSU banks also have same type of system.

I was aware of this One Day Master Card, One Days Visa, One Day Maestro, few years back when maestro cards were given by SBI, I was not aware if this still being followed.
Can you ask the person which Rupay Platinum is delivered? And the AQB of his account.
Infact I asked the SBI employee to try next day, as well, but not sure whether he tried or not.
