Been wanting to do this. I talk alot. And it affects how people see me.
I want to talk only when needed. I want to learn to control my mouth.
Any books or leads please?

@DonKoPakadnaNaMumkinHai bro, I also thought of shutting my mouth and behave like a mature person when I was young. Tried a lot of things, nothing worked. Then I embraced it. But I have tricks to keep it somewhat under control. I never signed up for whatsapp. I only use phone for food orders and if mom or someone mail me to switch it ON. When I do that, even now, the call duration touches 1 hour, if the caller and me are not busy. I know youngsters won’t be able to follow this.

One thing for sure, women actually love this non-stop talking. I go along with my friends to the pubs, I don’t drink, but if someone see me there, they will surely say that I am drunk because of laughing and my blabber mouth. In those pubs, lots of these young girls would come to me and explicitly say that they have been watching me and they like the way I behave. Not a single person actually complained about my yappity yappity non “sences”

So I would say, embrace it bruh.

I’m the ultimate level of introvert, my friends don’t even call me to their thrown parties anymore. I would not talk hours after hours. I just drink at the side of a room, stare amusingly at all the people talking nonsense, and as someone said, them girleens really do talk A LOT.

But I can’t help you because I never knew how it is to be anything other than what I am. Just try to have a thoughtful mind or something, not sure. Main point of being an extrovert is likeness towards people in general and being in agreement with whatever said, while I can’t advise you to hate people (event though that’s practical in today’s world) just try to understand that you should only speak that much which has meaning and thoughts. If you want variety and talk, only reserve that for your really closed ones (parents, children, ummm wife/ gf).
