How to build a good CIBIL score to get unsecured credit card

Never had loan or cc . Received FD based card from ICICI with 9k limit in September 2020.. so no history changed to 756.. But due to two hard enquires by SBI card.My CIBIL score dropped from 756 to 739.. how to improve it? ICICI secured cc not mentioning d approved limit to CIBIL. So credit utilisation Always 100%.. Should I pay d cc bill b4 bill generation? If I do so vil it improve my score? Should I go for Flipkart pay later r Amazon pay later for d better score?  @DimeDime @guest_999 @Mufasa

when tried to check cibil using one score app they said something went wrong
Tried using Paisa bazaar found it to be 769 not sure
Why one app can and other cannot

Paytm, HDFC account, ICICI wealth management…CIBIL also provide free score 1s…all the above is soft enquiry..won’t impact score.
Hard is when you apply for loan or card

People have bad experience with FK Pay later..
Account getting blocked, paylater makes you default and what not. Hence I said avoid ..CC are better than all this craps

Don’t worry about credit utilisation. Your score is just 4 month old..700+ is good score to start with..hard enquiry has reduced your score..but that will improve everymonth if there is no further hard enquiry.

Just keep paying your bill within a few days of statement generation date. Some banks don’t report cc limit to cibil(hdfc doesn’t report limit for any of its credit card I think @caks2006407 @rohit_agarwal ).

Best option, supposed to be for only hdfc bank customers but it was working for everybody last time I checked. Use pan as ID type. Report updates once every month on 20th.

No, you are doing it wrong. If you don’t let cc bill generate & pay it afterwards how will cibil know your financial health because cibil only receives generated bill statement final amount which will show zero in your case meaning no card usage.

But as per my experience, HDFC report gets refreshed once every 3 months. Is this a different one?

M not sure though, but from what I know: bill gets generated as long as there is some transaction, doesn’t matter on the final value (zero/non-zero); this bill gets reported to cibil; If you don’t do any transaction at all (passive card), then it won’t get reported, but if it’s a bill having final amount 0 due to prepayment, it will get reported, so we that’s all good; utilization ratio will get updated as per;
However still for the sake of boosting score, I guess best is to pre-pay the bill, but keep some 100ish amount left over so that utilization ratio is non-zero (1%); I personally used this method to boost my score from 765 to 790 in just 3 months (had 800+ previously, fell to 760 due to multiple hard hits as I had applied for 5-6 cards in a short span of time)

I am also getting something went wrong error on checking my CIBIL whe experian & other apps /sites showing my CIBIL credit score. Both experian & Cibil has different method of a credit score calculation. Financial institutions prefer CIBIL over any other credit bureau agencies. If you apply for credit card, they fetch your full report of your cibil database by hard enquires.
