Just get only 1 paylater , Flipkart pay later. Other paylaters are a hassle to close later on. This will start generating your score.

I just turned 18 and got my e-pan.
I have opened 2-3 zero balance bank account.
Now, senior dimers please help me with your experience to build my CIBIL.
How to I get started.
I am pretty sure no bank would give Credit card to 18 year old with 0 cibil.
I dont have an option to get secured cc also.
Slice rejected my application.
Now confused from where to start.
Thinking of getting postpe.
As soon as I get my first cc I will close every other BNPL.
Also I can manage my finances and will not misuse.

if you just want to build cibil then make fd and get card against that.. if you have money go for axis/sbi/hdfc/icici bank they easily provide secured credit card against fd for 10000..
if you have less money then go for onecard.. for 2000 fd..
after you got card then every month spend some money should be less than 10% of credit limit.. after bill is generated pay it.. repeat it ..
after 2-3 months your cibil will start generating.. don’t apply for pay later or loans… also avoid slice card…

I saw many threads in past about the issue in closing flipkart pay later. Is it smooth now?
As far as I know, only Paytm and ICICI paylater services doesn’t require any call or email or anything. You can close it in few clicks by yourself.

Yes fk paylater can be closed just by calling customer care now , closed a relative’s pay later last month
Just turned 18 years and you are worried about CIBIL score? I think you better worry about other more important scores now.

Doesn’t matter , they still report on time payments to cibil even if u don’t use it.

- If you are financially well off then please ignore CIBIL, credit cards and cashback etc. I was lucky that in 2008 those things were not that common.
- Build a good career first. And they ll chase you to give credit cards and loan. 🙂🙂🙂
Learn about investing 1st.
It’ll help a lot later on.

This is good advice. Don’t go for pay later options from Amazon/Flipkart and don’t apply for credit lines either.Â
…Focus on education ..cibil is secondary….

Affirmative. One of my friend has 13-15L annual package and yet the amazon icici card was rejected due to no CIBIL.
