How to check broadband providers in my area

City – Chandigarh
Any site which provides recent and reliable information on operators serving in my area and relevant plans

Have been using BSNL for 3-4 years, but looking for alternatives now.

Pls tell if you have any idea about any source which could tell these details, area wise data is preferred but even an idea of all operators serving in the city is fine.

Dimers from chandigarh are also welcome to tell their experience with respect to broadband

Might take a new connection for backup, actually the main wiring of my current broadband is in neighbour’s house and those idiots keep fiddling with wires. Decades old wiring.
I asked BSNL to shift the wires, but they aren’t interested

No idea about your area but don’t go for local cable ones. A stable cheap backup connection you need, so just take Jio or better yet if airtel is available.

And please ask bsnl again to move your adsl to fibre. Call every day or something.

Yeah, I am preferring airtel or jio (if any of them services here) since they would install new cables and all atleast.

Justdial shows alot of merchants but don’t know how reliable that is
Checked with jio, they aren’t in my area yet

If Jio isn’t available then airtel won’t be either I guess. Airtel only caters to the very posh areas. You can just check with your PIN code though, for airtel.
