How to Close SBI Simply Save Credit Card Successfully?

The card is there in my SBI Card Portal https://www.sbicar...m/
I didn’t receive the upgraded card (new card number) so don’t have the full Credit Card number
Not using the card for more than a year.
The Annual fees is going to be charged in next to next week (4th week of dec 2021) and I want to close the same in next week (3rd week of dec 2021)
Necessary to take NOC/No Due Certificate before initiating the process?
I want to start the process tomorrow.

You can ask for it after you’re sure they’re closing the card and not making it ltf to retain you i guess.

@rajrocks i kept on mailing to the department heads relentlessly, they have just created ticked and [email protected] simply told me to wait after waiting every week
The please wait longer mail comes each week and the resolution date keeps on extending

@rajrocks I think u will have to visit sbicard office and discuss, online support is a myth for any sbi product
PS: i understand how it feels, mine has not been solved yet, i am at a loss myself
I wrote emails to their chiefs MD etc
@rajrocks I closed my simply save card two days back without asking any card details they closed my card on same day over call
