How to Close SBI Simply Save Credit Card Successfully?

The card is there in my SBI Card Portal https://www.sbicar...m/
I didn’t receive the upgraded card (new card number) so don’t have the full Credit Card number
Not using the card for more than a year.
The Annual fees is going to be charged in next to next week (4th week of dec 2021) and I want to close the same in next week (3rd week of dec 2021)
Necessary to take NOC/No Due Certificate before initiating the process?
I want to start the process tomorrow.

@rajrocks i kept on mailing to the department heads relentlessly, they have just created ticked and [email protected] simply told me to wait after waiting every week
The please wait longer mail comes each week and the resolution date keeps on extending

@rajrocks I think u will have to visit sbicard office and discuss, online support is a myth for any sbi product
PS: i understand how it feels, mine has not been solved yet, i am at a loss myself
I wrote emails to their chiefs MD etc
@rajrocks I closed my simply save card two days back without asking any card details they closed my card on same day over call
how do u know its closed for sure?
@rajrocks mail them your registered mobile or call them and verify and block, easy no problem

I got SimplyClick Card as an additional one with SBI Prime Card. Instead of credit limit becoming double of the existing one (mentioned in the SMS), the current limit was split between the 2 cards.
1) Now, my query is whether I can choose to close only the Prime Card, and keep the SimplyClick Card?
2) If the answer to my 1st query is YES, then what will happen to my Credit Limit on the Prime Card? Will its CL get merged with the CL of SimplyClick Card?
Also, can any SimplySave CC holder let me know the Reward Points Redemption Scheme for Amazon GV, like how many points required to redeem a certain Amazon GV?
Under Prime Card’s Reward Points redemption scheme, it’s 20000 points for 2.5K & 40K for 5K worth of Amazon GV.

You can close any of the card, and the limit will be merged with other card. You may have to specifically mention that to the representative. This is what I was informed by the care. I have similar situation to deal with but delaying due to other priorities.
Recently I redeemed my simplyclick rewards for Amazon voucher. 500/- voucher for 2k points

I don’t remember doing anything special to close my simplysave card back in 2017. I called their care and gave closure request. To be sure , you can send them an email about the same. Check your cibil report after 3 months or so and ensure the card is not showing active.
You can message them through the portal’s inbox page and ask them to close
