How to Close SBI Simply Save Credit Card Successfully?

They will probably call you in a day or two to try and retain you and might make your card ltf. Then you won’t have to close it. If not then it would take 3-4 days to close

They make it ltf sometimes to retain people, might offer you something else than making it ltf. Depends on the person calling you. My friend tried to close his simplyclick and they made it ltf even though he hadn’t used his card in the last 1 year.

Calling wouldn’t work , they will ask for cc number. He doesn’t have it

You can try your luck . I also have a simplyclick but wil close it next year or get them to make it ltf.

From reg. mobile number calling works.
IVR prompt was asking to click 1 after mentioning last 4 digits of card.
So. No issues

but still its better to have it on written than on call. just incase of any future issues + written proofs are always better.

You will get faster and better response from escalations.

One should explore all possible options – email, call, nodal officer and banking ombudsman in that order to get resolution from SBI.
Best to use all if u r not getting any quick responses on 1st two options.

@rajrocks you can cc both customer care and escalations in your email. Still an easy option would be to send them a message through sbi portal.

You can ask for it after you’re sure they’re closing the card and not making it ltf to retain you i guess.

Ask For Noc After They Close The Card. @Tanmayyy Bro Is Right If They Give U LTF Offer Then Take Card

@rajrocks i kept on mailing to the department heads relentlessly, they have just created ticked and [email protected] simply told me to wait after waiting every week
The please wait longer mail comes each week and the resolution date keeps on extending

@rajrocks I think u will have to visit sbicard office and discuss, online support is a myth for any sbi product
PS: i understand how it feels, mine has not been solved yet, i am at a loss myself
I wrote emails to their chiefs MD etc

@rajrocks I closed my simply save card two days back without asking any card details they closed my card on same day over call

@rajrocks mail them your registered mobile or call them and verify and block, easy no problem
But my case is different
