Hjspliter, try to merge them
you should provide more information, like the source.
Harish.agarwal wrote:Hjspliter, try to merge them
@Harish.agarwal there is no question of merging the files because these are not separate video and audio files. It’s encrypted videos (which includes audio inbuilt).

@ayushiVijay see if you know this
deb4O5 wrote:What’s the source bro?? Do these files have any DRM attachments? Then it’s hard to decrypt. @getready any help?
Most probably those encrypted screams (like Primevideo/JC) that require DRM keys for decryption
Its not worth the time
Some pirate groups have access to tools which can decrypt / download unencrypted streams but they will never go public
Seems like paid lectures, but decrypting these will require spending heavily i guess. I ll share ur link of this thread to my whtsapp grup of engineers, lets see if they can help.

Is this the software you’re talking about?
If not then check the content browser menu, then Help then you should see maker/ publisher of the software. Take a snapshot and Post here
dealdimer99 wrote:Forget about it bro, unless you can crack the private encryption key in that folder which i suspect to be 128-bit AES encrypted there is no way of doing it. The closest you can do is try a screen recording software assuming the inbuilt content browser has no anti-screen recording protection.

No it’s not from Sonycreative. Please check image in main post, you can get some idea from it. It’s mainly used for playing encrypted educational video lectures.

Screen recording is the best option. Use OBS Studio.

Bro, I meant source.. like where did you get this (camcorder clips or some other shares) and how this is going to make you any issue watching in that particular software?
Why do you really want to convert, if you can very well play things offline using the specific application (from Sony)?
Feels like am missing something here.

That is a different software, this one here is just named “content browser” because it literally does that. All such encrypted videos require an integrated player to playback the protected content.

Yes there is anti-screen recording protection. Screen will went black if anyone tries to capture it while playing videos and snipping tool will also not work for taking screenshots.

What about the audio.. in case of screen recording?

@deb3l there is no issue watching in that particular software but this software can be activated using specific serial keys and it comes with validity and views restrictions.

Try open it in km player. Most probably it won’t open. Then go to tools > information
Take a snapshot. Post it here.

Now I get what I’ve suspected in the beginning. These files have got DRM locks with them.. and can hardly be unlocked by any outer software.
Try any screen recording software who can beat this.. tough luck bro!
PS: If these were any online videos, workaround could have made.

I know it won’t play. I’m just curious if km player file info can shed some light on the encrypted audio/ video container or of it shows as just gibberish binary file.

Encryption itself means converting readable info to gibberish. Also the container is most likely mp4(based on given info) which fully supports encryption for compatible audio & video streams.

Content browser isn’t just a standalone app/ software it’s an built in utility of the video lecture software. Just search “content browser” in Google

Some encrypted media files won’t even show it’s meta data while others do. (deceptive) file extension has nothing to do with video container.
I can’t help unless I know more.
If only small portion of the video files ( header) is ecrypted then decrypting it might be “possible”
Wontdisplaymyname wrote:@ayushiVijay see if you know this
Nope… Its all encryped files and u can’t run them without their dedicated players..
Looks like DRM protected files and you can only watch on dedicated player..
If screen recording got failed means try capturing with mobile camera with good light settings.
I’m not much aware of this issue bro ! Try youtube videos to crack if possible.
