How to Enjoy Audio-Only Youtube on Android Phone Even with Very Slow Internet Speed

You may have heard of the LibreTube app, which belongs to the category of open source youtube client apps like Newpipe, Skytube, Pipepipe, etc which is used to watch YouTube without ads on our Android mobile. Libretube is a great option for those who want to stream only audio on YouTube.

The internet speed drops to 10kbps after the high speed data balance on my 4G Android mobile is completely exhausted. Even though the internet speed is so slow, I listen songs, latest news, etc. through audio streaming without video. to use the Libretube app in this way, we first need to configure some settings. simply follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1 :

Install Libretube app. Select any one of the official Instances while installing the app.

Step 2 :

Tap the three vertically stacked dots

that appear in the top right corner of the screen.

Go to setting -> instance ->

Turn on "Disable Piped Proxy" and "Local Stream Extraction"

Step 3 :

Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Set the "Data Saver Mode" to "ON"

Step 1 :

Open Libretube app and search for any video. [Don't be confused by the results without thumbnails. Thumbnails aren't loading because "Data Saver" mode is on.]

Step 2 :

Long press on the desired video. Tap on the "Download" option. Select "No Video" at "Video" option. and, Select the audio quality by its file size at the "Audio" option.

[Tip: Choose the smallest file size audio for fast streaming even on very slow internet speed.] now click on "Download"

Step 3 :

Now open the

"Library" section and click on the "Downloads" option. Here you will see that the audio of the video you selected is loading. Once at least 200 KB has been loaded, long tap on the video title and click on the "Play in the background" option.
