Just eating heavy will make you the "Indian Skinny Fat". Either you have a very high metabolism, or some other medical issue. For the latter, get checked with a doctor first. Rest, gaining weight is same as loosing weight. Diet (in this case more) plus exercise.

P.S. your diet so fat free. Eat some butter, unhealthy chips/samosas/pastries, heavy cream and if you're non veg then add eggs, fish, red meat.

Bruh how come you know that you are underweight in the first place ? Did you calculate your BMI ? Do it first! If you are really underweight and planning to hit the gym,you will require heavy carbohydrate diet and weight gainer initially to lift the weights.Take it easy,one step at a time.You will get there!!💪🏼👊🏼
Yes, I did calculate by BMI and I am underweight as of now.

If your medical conditions are all good then first thing is to remove the main tensions of life as a happy person puts on weight faster then what I followed is 1 then after 1 month 2 then after 1 month 2.5 glass of peanut butter, banana, milk shake with some dryfruits consistency not to heavy along with that I was taking 6(2 then 3 then 4 and so on) boil eggs a day diet will increase day by day as you will hit hard in gym and take a complete diet like salad for fibre and eat as per your capacity

don't worry about the weight, it might be genetic or your metabolism related.I used to be underweight most of my life. I had myself tried multiple things to increase weight but nothing worked. My weight increased on its own later.

Don't do this mistake, iam the one who's under weight, felt that some kind of shame due to my lien body , used raw eggs & all those unwanted things to gained weight, became overweight & felt the same shame & gone to my original figure. & Learned the great lesson, that's i don't want anyone to validate anyone the way i born. Be whoever your & if it's for medical reasons then proceed

I am kind of an expert in kinesiology, I used to be a stick figure but I went to gym and used all my knowledge to bulk up, get strong as hell and become confident. First the basics, you are NOT UNDERWEIGHT, you are a normal person with an ectomorphic body.
A human body gains weight and/or bulk by only a combination of fat and muscles. Many people have 30 to 40% body fat percentage with good fat distribution and others think of them as having a nice, strong body whereas in reality they are obese.
People like us, lack both fat as well as muscles, so we look skinny. On top of that, we have insanely high metabolism, everything gets digested into heat and energy within a matter of hours, without anything going into our adipose tissues (fat deposits).
So we need to gain weight by adding both fat & muscles so that we can be strong and confident. Join a gym with a personal trainer, believe me, a personal trainer is absolutely essential for guys like us. Otherwise, we will lose motivation soon enough and stop putting our 110% efforts in the gym, a personal trainer is good for 2 things - to shout on you to provide your whole effort and to correct your form during exercises.
Take pre workout drink, WITHOUT CAFFEINE. Drink whey protein 4 times a day, 2 grams per kg of your body weight. Don't fall for overtraining, train only 5 days a week, REST is the most important factor for muscle growth and body recovery. Whenever in the gym, NEVER EXCEED 12 sets per muscle group, regardless of the number of exercise variant. For example, for chest, do only 3 different exercises of 4 sets each. Anything more than that will contribute to overtraining which will result in exhaustion and muscle shrinkage!
And on top of all this, take MASS GAINER approx 400 gms a day. Some people might say that mass gainers are bad and artificial, but it's absolutely essential for ectomorphic guys like us and even though it is artificial, it's not really unhealthy. If you don't take mass gainer, you will have to eat like additional 20 Roti, 8 bowls of veg/daal everyday which is just impractical.

Rice , boiled Potatoes , boiled Sakarkandi (english don't know ) bananas , butter ., home made gajar ka halwa with milk and ghee in it , parathas with butter . Start This you will notice difference . But Stay away from junk food.
Bro, you are okay. I was also slim in my teenage. It actually felt good bcoz I was eating everything I liked, but other people were concerned about calories, etc.

Please ask this question to those creatures roaming in society with huge stomach ( Completely Out of Shape Body) and still criticizing & questioning skinny people about their Health and Abilities(Especially for Marriage)
Join Gym, be serious with workout. Focus of gaining muscles then weight and go for whey and ceretine. I have gained from 45 to 67kg in 2years

I am 26 and 46 kg same problem
My current diet :-
Breakfast :- 1 glass milk, banana
Lunch :- 3 rotis with a sabji / sometimes rice with dal
Dinner :- Mostly 3 rotis with some sabji or dosa or pav bhaji or any other cuisine.
Also I eat some snacks in between.
