Hello Dimers,
Happy janmashtmi to all of you
Kindly suggest me solution to get rid of these flies. This is my bathroom wall corner. These flies are only in this bathroom not in other bathroom or any other place.
Although I don't see any direct hazard from them but I am sure of unseen hazards that they are causing.
Also request you to kindly tag relevant Dimers. Even I can tag them but nobody is directly known to me and also read the post where offersfan36 tagged irrelevant Dimers or Dimers without there consent and that causes fight.

Wash all the tiles with red harpic and they won't return back
They are similar to "fruit flies" and appear only in bathrooms. Use Baygon/Hit spray to kill them or spray/wash the walls with hypochlorite solution.
These are usually being seen from past few years . Moisture / dampness ,oily / greasy surfaces at home attract them .
Keep the area dry and ventilated. Clean wipe the area it sits . Spray some insecticide and repeatedly do that everyday or alternate day. Mild Bleach cleaning also can be dine
These are drain flies. Keep the drain clean and clean tiles with good surfactant. For few days leave the drain filled with phenyl to break the breeding cycle.
Cover the drain properly (i.e. there is no gap for one of these flies to crawl out) once the bathroom will not be made wet again. We typically do it before going to bed. Throughout the day the bathroom keeps getting used and there is proper ventilation as the door is opened and shut.
Looks like neighbourhood spy 😅
Yes they are drain flies. Fit the hole with a drain that has a cover so insects don't crawl up: https://www.amazon.in/Lipka-Stainless-Steel-Sat...
