Easy way to identify vaccination centres giving covaxin doses

In cowin.gov.in portal those hospital names which are ending with code “C1” administer Covaxin. Others are Covishield vaccination centres.

some are giving both, with option given to the patients.
Is covidshield better or covaxin 
Nothing to laugh. It’s people’s life at stake.

Covidshield is banned in 18 countries. Taking it gives fever, Giddiness for some.
Covaxin nothing heard of.

How to register for Covishield?

On cowin website when you look for booking a slot, few hospital are marked as ‘paid’. Paid ones are mostly offering covshield. Atleast that’s how it works where I live.
Tip: Don’t bother about your appointment time/slot. Reach their earliest as they mostly don’t care about appointment.
In our area, if we got the vaccine in government hospitals, they are giving CoviShield. But to increase the vaccination centers, government is keeping camps in government schools, there they are giving covaxin. It’s not fixed like that, few of my relatives got in that way.
Cannot see any such bifurcation in Mumbai
In Mumbai in a private hospital, my brother got covishield and two weeks later my staff got covaxin… So same place, different times different vaccine. You need to take second dose of the same company as the first
Actually it is not fix, it is based on supply of vaccine which one they are getting from central government as they couldn’t buy them directly from manufacturers at that time.
