Sorry..i had to vent it out.. !!

I work at an MNC and was interacting with person A from another team for some project activity that i am managing. I spoke probably 5-6 times over email/call and this guy A always comes up with illogical stupid arguments over email to avoid ownership and accountability and tries to blame me by acting smart (he is a senior in org)... I also interact with his project partner Lady B and they should ideally be on the same page when talking to me since they are working on the same project .. however, they always differ in opinions and dnt coordinate with each other and always put me in a spot before seniors!!  The change they are supposed to do is so small that it takes a week at max but guy A keeps on arguing why his team should do it for a month !! Lady B says their team owns this and will deliver but she doesn't mark guy A in those emails..
I was so fed up with guy A for his stupid arguments without acknowledging the issue, I feel anxiety whenever I see a mail from him and I get restless !!! ( I don't like arguing with ppl and always believe in collaborative work env but fought with him two months back)  but this person is stressing me a lot, like literally, my heart beats fast whenever I see his mail !!  Even now I have sent him an email to which I am sure he will give a stupid reply and I am already stressed thinking abt that !! I have a long career and workd with multiple teams but never had this kind of experience ...

How should I get out of this and deal with this normally!!

Since you mentioned that you have been in the professional workspace for many years now..

.

.. if still you are finding it so stressful .. as to trigger your flight or fight response..

... then better to talk it out.

.

If not with Mr. A and Ms. B.. then with some mentor or senior within the organisation.

.

But ultimately... in the long run.. if such people or situations keep crossing your path,

.. then only other practical coping mechanism might be to be more assertive.

.

Such things may not be a one off thing or limited to your current organisation/ workspace alone.

.

If you have similar palpitations issue in personal life too or in case this has started affecting you in way more disconcerting ways... then seeking timely professional help in the matter might be optimal.

+1, I am same type of person who like to avoid fights at any cost and like to work in team. But, damn this corporate culture (I work for Pvt Bank), the people in this culture just love to pass their time doing some stupid things and passing on irrelevant comments, I used to think about it a lot before but now I don't and since I don't join others stupidity gang and their irrelevant ways to pass time instead of doing productive work they send false reports against me to HO and Main Branch due to which I am been falsely marked under PIP 🙃

Meh, people in corporate can just go to any other level to satisfy their ego.
