In my new phone oppo A53, I found google continuously stealing data and popping out useless news as notifications.
Tried disabling and forcing stop but it all went in vain.
Even turned to data saving settings but google still keeps up it’s 💩 in background mode too!
Not to mention, the unnerving google ads where each and every search inside apps like myntra shows up all round for days.
Any way to shut it down for good?

How about rooting and removing all(keeping gmail, playstore etc. that you need) Google apps.?
But I don’t know how to root plus won’t it remove my phone’s warranty?
For browser use brave browser
Disable Google app if you don’t use it
I keep only Playstore,Gmail,Drive,Gpay and Google Play games and services
Go to : https://myactivity.google.com/myac...ty and turn off everything
For data restrict background data usage
I am surprised with Myactivity Tracking
Thanks turned off
Color OS has the option to block internet access to apps. Check each app and disable internet access to apps that do not need internet.
Disable Myactivity tracking.
Disable Google Assistant.
You should be more worried about oppo then Google but that apart, flash a vanilla custom rom and live your life on micro g.
Other than a very few exceptions Oppo doesn’t allow bootloader unlock so zero aftermarket development. So no root possible. Maybe with the likes of Kingo root or some other unreliable Chinese solution. But without a custom recovery its quite risky considering Oppo unlike Xiaomi or Oneplus voids warranty if bootloader is unlocked or rooted.
Blokada works well. Open source, creates a local VPN so that your data doesn’t go off the device. Very resource-friendly.
Oppo is the culprit here.
