How to redeem Big bazaar gift cards and wallet balance as stores are closed?

Recently there was an article in the newspaper on this but there is still no resolution. They say that 34 Big bazaar stores are still in operation but nobody knows the list of those stores..

BB and FP customer care lines are not operational. Reliance not accepting BB GCs

Anybody have any details on this issue?

I am just writing this response for people still holding unused Big bazaar - Gift cards

1. It seems that since reliance acquired Bigbazaar earlier this year - there might be a change "Smart Bazaar" store manager - would be able to help you with this - may be he can give you replacement with equivalent "smart-bazaar-Gift card" or "Credit note" [plastic debit card] for the Big bazaar GV you hold..

2. i also understood that - the seller of Bigbazaar on woohoo.in/or-other-sites is "Bigbazaar"-entity. Logically since bigbazaar is closed - the customer serive for pending cases/disputes/ complaints regarding redemption of GV's that are sold by Bigbazaar ---- all this would logically be transferred to "Reliance" support.
