Is there a way to remove the Corona virus hello tune that has been activated by default for all JIO users.

I tried #, but it is not working for me (Vodafone SIM)
even airtel idea have activated it

its not hello tune. hello tune works in the receiver’s number. its pre-dial announcement on the caller’s number, activated as per the direction of GoI. received sms from airtel on this.

Lol that’s just a alert msg to all who are just panicking without proper info.
It’s good initiative though.
Yeah, its necessary for awareness, but listening to it every time you call is irritating, there should be atleast an option for people to voluntarily disable it , no point of teaching the same thing again and again, have to waste 1-2 mins each time i call, and its disappointing when the call itself is of 30 seconds 
I am tired of hearing this pre-dial announcement.

They could have restricted to 1st call of the day
Here’s a way to avoid this tone.
Call the no. You want to call disconnect immediately once you hear message
Then call again to same no. You won’t listen to it again.
Doesn’t work
I agree that there should be an option to allow us to skip the call. I mean, the message is important and I am glad there was an initiative done for that but constantly hearing that at every possible call is just not the right way. What if there is an emergency?
If you dont want to hear it, press # and if you dont want people who call you to hear it, might have to set a caller tune.
