My car was parked inside my building premises. A nearby building was being painted and small paint spots came and fell all over our car.

My father tried to remove with water and shampoo but not going and if he is using finger nails to remove then scratches are coming.

I researched a lot online and different people are saying to use different things like Thinner / Turpentine / Robin / Rubbing Compound.

Can someone please suggest what will be the best way to remove the spots without damaging our car’s polish and shine.

PS – I couldn’t click any photo so uploading a similar car photo to explain the condition of our car better. https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/676779/medium/dd-1617892759287.jpg?1617892769

If you couldn’t remove it after all the trials, enquire which brand paint it is and update us here? Might be helpful for us.

There are types of thinners. Till now just normal paint thinner tried. It did go but took lot of effort but car orginal paint was getting damaged

My friend faced similar issue. He took the car to a 3m detaining center . They took care of it for a fee. You can explore similar options

Hey bro, a simple task to be done and it will fade away easily.
Just purchase a hand sanitizer spray bottle. Take a piece of cotton cloth. Spray and rub it on paint. It does wonders in removing years back paint also. Try this and update here smile
Edit : your cars color will be safe with this.
