How to stop my phone from Android automatic system upgrade?

So i have a Nokia 6.1 plus which recently got the Android 10 update a week back. Apparently, the new update has a lot of glitches and i do not want to update my phone to the latest version. I haven’t switched on my wifi for a few days now to avoid the update from being automatically downloaded.
Kindly suggest how to stop the update from being downloaded and installed?

Go to phone settings—system update—settings & there should be some option like “download automatically” which needs to be disabled/turn off.

If your phone is rooted, you could change the version number in build.prop under “system”. Like v99. 99 or something. That way the device assume what you have is already latest
