Today got a scam call from this number 8570955731.
She was a girl, said I got a cashback for my credit card which will be directly credited to account.
She said me for verification I have to mention what was written on my card (mastercard or visa).
I instantly said to her, what you guys get for fooling people and scamming them, why don't you guys work.
She started abusing me, my mother and sister. She was abusing too much.
Where to complaint against such people? and why government doesn't take action even if we provide mobile number.
Can't they trace these numbers? These cases are been increasing day by day. What is the solution? How to teach them lesson.
It's so sad we have their mobile numbers but still we cannot do anything to these people.
Again I got another call from a girl from this number 9477733291

Ek dimer ho kar ladki se gaaliyaan kha gaya...
Har dimer aisa nahi:
aisi he ek ladki se date karke baja diya. Full on line baji on scam call and pata chala inka center 4-6 kms from my home, asked her to ping from her personal no, showoff gadi hai etc, she actually did and we had fun 🤩
aajkal to bhikari bhi gali de deta hai agar ₹1-₹2 do, OP should be happy atleast ladki ne galiya di. Itna bada issue nahi, dil bada rakho.
These aren't personal numbers or the source of these calls is from places like jamtara where its not easy to handle these scamsters. Best thing you can do is enable features like " Caller ID & Spam protection" on Google Phone app or via third party apps like "Truecaller" and avoid these calls altogether
@admin or any senior Dimer can we pls have a thread where we can share our probable scam details. Will be very helpful for anybody to go through that thread and be cautious.
Recently I have been getting automated calls offering CC with high limits, no bank name mentioned. Press 1 if interested. Lucknow UP's no.
I am sure its a scam. Since was in work, didn't bother to dig in further.
Few days back, similar thing was happening, only that they were offering Amex Platinum card. The scammer couldn't speak proper english, I am aware how good Amex is, so knew immediately he was a scammer. I just told him, how come you guys are providing Amex card where as Amex is banned in India to onboard new customers. he just cut the call. Probably they don't know much english slangs.
On the Amex call, I received a similar call about 3 weeks ago in which a female offered Amex Platinum card, and when I informed her that Amex isn't allowed to include new customers, she replied "Since when?". Lol
Actually, the police catch one, and there are 100 more.. you alone got two calls, imagine the whole of India..
Where do they get numbers from... network providers, online shopping...
police think they have bigger issues to deal with!!

nowhere. they are busy arresting people like u and me under the freedom of expression

they can but only if the call goes to someone in power
Share that no. on lusty groups on telegram 😝
Lusty groups pe koi banda fans gaya aur kuch badaa khela ho gaya toh sabse pehle yeh op hi fansega agar number galat tarah se circulate kiya toh. Agar ladki scam kar hi rahi hai toh uske liye tharki ladka sabse aasaan shikaar hoga. So I think he should avoid sharing these numbers in groups on his own.
Do not bother about gaalis, these people are so frustrated because their trick rarely works nowadays. Risk has gone up tenfold but income has gone down to 1/10th for them.
1. Go to Truecaller and rename that number to Fraud/Fake - Do NOT pick up. This step will help others.
2. Report and block that number. This step will help you.
3. Download TRAI DND App and register for FULL DND. Afterwards, raise a complaint in the APP whenever you receive SPAM messages/calls. If more than 10 persons report against a number, TRAI forces telco providers to disconnect that number because sending unsolicited commercial communications (UCC) to a fully DND number is illegal. This step will help the country and its law-abiding citizens.
Personally tested and TRAI actually disconnected the number of a CC spammer after I reported it. They also sent me SMS confirmation for that.
Just block the number and move on or use the spam call filter apps like @getready suggested.
Whenever I get such calls, after getting the first hint that its a scam/spam call I disconnect the call & block the number. No use wasting your time thinking about how you can teach them a lesson. They're pros at it and even if you invest lots of time & energy behind them its almost impossible to get them.
What you must do is to educate your family members especially elders who usually are easy target for them to identify such callers based on what they're asking and never follow their instructions blindly.
If you're South Indian - talk in your local language halfway through the conversation. Ignore any attempts to divert the call into Hindi. These guys won't stand a chance.
I always do... but not halfway.. and when they ask whether I am so and so I say no and say my name as My friends name..
“never wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.” isliye inse behes karna bhi bekar hai.
Call bomb that number
Missile se hi udda do 😂
That too this was a whatsapp message on my dad's no.
Bas**** isko apni Nani yaad dilado guyss
Troling and Scamming and Rude/foul language is a second hobby to most Indian people including dimers
So I suggest while in India do as Indians do, say, wear or act
Be an Indian to counter another one
Only few days back I had a heated debate with 2 people who were claiming to create ayushman card which will benefit people for 5 Lac free health insurance (govt. scheme). They were claiming to be from a govt company name ABHA (lol it's a short form of Ayushman Bharat Health Account). So being curious I went to them and started investigating as I knew they can't register anyone for ayushman card they were literally illiterate with almost no knowledge of what they were doing.
So what they were doing was creating peoples health id by making false promises via a company website (it can be done directly via govt. website and this card literally gives nothing except making all health record accessible at one place) the website t&c states they get's access to our health card and all other details.
They were asking for aadhar no. and OTP and people were giving it freely even without inquiring properly these people don't even had any Id's whatsoever. What's even worse is even after creating the ruckus people still didn't understood a damn thing but even the scene I created helped them for free publicity which brought more peoples to them.😜
I was shocked and felt so bad for myself as it literally ruined my day but people kept coming to them I could have called cops but many people who were there were quite supportive to those people as they think they are taking nothing so even if they doesn't get anything so there's no harm to them which stopped me from doing that.
I am also a sould frustrated by spammerers and scamsters.
Contrary to popular belief, do not use Truecaller. It is the number one source that helps the scamsters. Reason: Truecaller gets your phone book with the names that you have saved. That means now you not only have given your information but also compromised the info of all the people on your phone book. If you have saved you mother's number with her name, scamsters also knows that name! While talking it becomes easier to establish rapport once the otherside knows your name.
Some of you have asked same question again and again. How these people get your number. The answer is very simple. From you. Dimmers are people who like to get offers and cashback and for that they register their numbers everywhere. Example this: many people have started using Bajaj fin's app for bill pay/recharge for cashback. It is one of the top most spammer today. The only reason that they started this service is to get mobile numbers. Their main business is to offer consumer loan. And by the way, it is the biggest company today in India providing consumer loans. And their business is great. I am also their shareholder and love the company because of the growth it offers.
There are plenty of apps where the terms and conditions clearly say that they would use your personal info and they will share it with their "affiliates" too. Whosoever gives money becomes their affiliate. And in many case they themselves are interested in monetizing your info.
My personal example - I never use my second number anywhere else but just on banks. I never used to get spam calls on that number. One day, my wife registered it mistakenly on magicbricks. Now I am getting plenty of spam calls and messages from all real estate companies from all over India.
So, we are the culprit to share our own info and also compromise info of our near and dear ones. The lure of offers and cashback is so high that we definitely end up sharing the numbers. Just one small mistake one day, by us or by one of our elderly people will take away all the cash backs and much more. Unless you stop this, which is difficult, these spammers and scamsters will thrive.

Another thread going on. The lure of earing credit card rewards point 😊
People will distribute parents numbers now 😄
Even though Playstore itself clearly shows :
"This app may share these data types with third parties
Personal info and Financial info"
I am not here to judge anything. However, I am in software development for past 25 years and with due respect, I believe I have the understanding on how things/app work logically.
I would not suggest anyone to use trucaller. While you want to know who is calling you, the scamsters also get to know whom they are calling. Ultimately it defeats the purpose.
Another source of spam just revealed..

You buy product from organic India and if you are "lucky" you become the victim of the scam. Just FYI, you bought their products from CRED. Still wondering how these people get your numbers?
I speak... hello or anything whatever comes to my mind in between ... so spammer thinks I am still listening him/her. A few minutes ago... one spammer called me 3 times... .
Jaise hum gali dete hain in spammers to yeh bhee mujhe gaali dete honge... ki saale ne time waste karwaya... well the whole purpose is this only
If u want to be mean - Put them on hold
If u want to save ur time - block them
