Hi Friends,

I have a 5 year old ( Fatey-haal ) SBI ATM cum debit card from Maestro, Due to its limited acceptability and dilapidated condition, I am planning to upgrade it to VISA or Mastercard, I heard it is possible by calling bank. But i think they will take a renewal charge ? how much ?

Any one knows if its possible to renew the card to a different Logo without the renewal fees ?

+Karma for the best reply.
regards

Thanks bro,

Can you please elaborate how did you apply for the new card ? (I heard SBI does not issue 2 debit cards at the same time? )

You need to first deactivate you current sbi maestro card by writing an application to them..

And after it, (may be same time or two days later), fill a new application for visa card.

If you aged between 18-30yrs, you can get a sbi youth visa card..
First year its free. and later on 100-150 per year (not sure though). Th new card will be delivered to ur registered address in 4-5 days

bro no need to deactivate the card first

U can have 2 cards also just go to the bank and apply for a new card when u receive the new visa card just call the sbi cc and deactivate ur previous card its as simple as that.:-D

You were absolutely right.. It was letting me go to payment offer page BUT my SBI card was blocked for online transaction by the bank itself… https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_evil.gif

Though I was able to get hold of a friends card which let me use the offer. I will try to get the card activated for online transactions later..
