How to upgrade to Imperia HDFC

Hi Dimers,

I am HDFC Preferred account holder. I want to upgrade to Imperia. What can I do to make the bank give me that offer. I have lots of relationship with the bank like 10 year old salary account, 9 year old CC recently upgraded to Regalia from Regalia first, Home loan of a substantial amount, various closed personal loans earlier etc. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Contact your rm

contacting rm will surely not work as your rm is rm for preferred customers and he will not want his client to upgrade(he will loose one client from his management)

if you need then contact branch manager or email hdfc

My family group accounts got upgraded from preferred to imperia at beginning of this month.

My RM is same as before because our branch doesn’t have dedicated RM for imperia customers

We got imperia because we met the conditions ( fixed deposits)

Min balance need not be maintained for a year after which they will downgrade.
If u r almost eligible for premium card but for some reason rejected Imperia upgrade can help u.

Not true, they have not reverted to email even after 4 days CC says for everything talk to RM, they just give RM ph num, or if u insist they say RM will call u in 24-48 hrs. Agreed. I do not find any difference in services after upgrade. My Diners black cashback queries are pending for over 2 months and not resolved yet. The only benefit I find is that wait time to connect to phone customer service is lesser.

I suppose you are correct. I just wrote on the basis of what i expected in future.

My RM is good though or i know how to get him to do the work. Whenever there is an issue, I visit him and i ask him to write an email (raise a query) in front of me. Then the issue gets resolved within 1-3 days.

My RM always asks me for term insurance and i always use the best slang words for him as compliments smile

Regarding DCB/Infinia CC …I have received only positive response for getting these cards against FD’s

I have applied for imperia. Meet criteria.
But since 1 week not yet update. Don’t know How long it will take.

What if I get upgraded to imperia but couldn't maintain monthly avg balance.
