Dear Dimers, I have around 400+ rupees as main balance in Airtel prepaid. Is there any tricks to activate unlimited plan using the main balance? Or we need to consume the balance as pay as go?

Contacted Airtel through Twitter.
They responded and asked to try *129#.
But it didn’t worked. Then contacted them again through Twitter. They said it will not work if any plan is currently valid, asked me try after current pack expiry.

Email TRAI. Mention that since Airtel has blocked off all ways of using talktime balance you aren't able to port out without forfeiting all of it. Expect a response from Airtel TRAI complaints within a few days. Keep in mind they stop respond afterwards no matter how many times you email them unless you complaint to TRAI again. Better to recharge with the Rs 1799 annual pack and ask them to activate any data pack with the balance amount. I had managed to use up almost Rs 3.1k of the balances across my nos. Only Rs 480 remaining which I will use in a month or two.
