One of my staffs usually don't check text messages. However, today she asked to me about subsidy txn on her passbook. I asked if she got messages from HP GAS. Upon checking, I got these fake txns on HP App. The problem is that it was never booked nor delivered.
Then I came across this post on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/bangalore/comments/z7x... .
I also think since, the quota wasn't over..that might be reason that distributor falsely booked these two refills. Upon calling to distributor, he didn't took up the call. Then I called my distributor, he said don't complain as of now. Kindly verify it from vendor and ask to not repeat again. If they does it again, file a complain against them.
I suspect this as scamming those who aren't vigilant to these things. Should I file complain to HP GAS on behalf of my staff? Or leave it by assuming it's genuine error!!

Correct but I think there is a limit on which a customer id can get the maximum number of cylinders in a particular year. If it's exhausted then I think there will be a trouble for getting refills

Even twenty years back or even before, elder relatives often got cylinders by paying in black to the delivery staff.. when she was studying in different city
Nothing new that the staff of PDS (ration) shops or LPG distribution agencies pilfer stock by creating False entries about customers and then even sell it at above market rates.
Whether to help them by not reporting or to build pressure on them by reporting.. is purely your own decision.
Either ways, nothing much will change.
If at all someone has managed to take alcohol selling licence or LPG distribution agency.. means that they have good connections at local level or even state level or within the Oil Marketing Companies.
A notice here and there or a demerit card due to complaints does not hurt much in the long run.
Yes, they will have to do some explaining for each small complaint too.. like if the delivery person refuses to weigh the refill or vlsims not to have a weighing scale.
Unless there are frequent and many such complaints of such fake deliveries.. the junior staff themselves will keep enjoying at that agency.
Since you even considered to 'let go', despite it not costing you much time and effort.. gives us some overall picture of why the system rots and sometimes even totally crumples.

Gas agency people book cylinders and sell it in black market. In my case, indane distributor books almost every month. We get sms of LPG delivered.
Complaint to IOCL helpline. Nothing happened. Bookings still done after that.
Warned Distributor over phone. No action. Bookings continue.

Keep cctv footages saved if any... go all in ...they are selling in black and using your subsidy as well..
If it doesn't help ...reach out to news channels as well but keep all proofs ready...

This comes under civil supplies and 6 years back i called them complained about an issue. That number was available when i googled. Please see if such number available in your area and call them. It may work.

Distributors usually sell 14.2kg cylinders in black market to sweetshops, hotels, hawkers .
Check for subsidy entries in bank account linked(incase of ujjwala connection).
If you find entries, she(maid) has been scammed and their is no errors/technical mistakes.
Charge up and file complaint without hesitation if you really care and wanna help victim.

And for 20 days, how the hell it got booked within 1 week if it's there!! 😆 Maybe HP vendor themselves got intoxicated with mercaptan.
