Don’t go by brand name, but specs. Brand does not matter much except after sale support. All laptops perform equally. Just check what’s your priorities. To save money buy laptop without windows you can install genuine windows by purchasing OEM license key which cost you not more than 1000rs. If you need windows 10 license key you can PM me. I have some.

I bought HP 250 g7 from flipkart at 35k. Completely satisfied with my decision.

I don’t think you need a 35k laptop just for normal usage hushed

Yes, right, a lower priced laptop would suffice. But it should have an SSD. If it’s not pre-installed, you should install it. I transformed my 11 year old dell laptop using an SSD and it feels snappier and fast-loading than my friend’s i5 8th gen lapi with hdd.

And if you have some extra cash lying around, you may consider buying an Amazon Kindle.

Yup, that’s the magic of ssd, even basic ssd like Kingston, adata, etc are also fine to give new life to the oldies smile

I bet you wouldn’t get better price in offline stores than online. If you could arrange an Amazon business account and show that it’s a business purchase, you can even save yourself from the heavy 18% GST. And if you have any relative or friend coming from US to India, you can get a laptop at dirt cheap price using highly discounted Amazon gift cards.

Without a valid gstin number there is no use because that is must for getting gst exemption but nobody is going to give/allow their genuine gstin number to be used for such purchases because the firm whose gstin is used will have to show this purchase in their gst return for claiming 18% gst exemption.

So do you know someone willing to allow their gstin to be used for such purchases on amazon, in my opinion there shouldn’t unless the person having the gstin is related to you.

7th gen i3 avoid, 8th gen i3 will work but with some lagging(ssd is must, don’t even think about doing all this with hdd running latest win 10).
