How can someone send fake items to get refund approved? Anyone knows how he did it?

i cannot debate you here , but this is still on going , with both fk and amazon .

this trend is carried especially from amazon usa (international amazons) etc , where they receive bills when they are failed when caught and in india you get caught like in this case especially with such amounts , though it still sounds hard to get unnoticed for so long , but we won’t know such big scams until they are , disclosed in news.

btw this is know as boxing method and i have been seeing this before amazon was launched in india.

But they refund only after the item is returned and obviously, verified… 200 orders with such amount has to be expensive items, then upon receipt, somebody must have verified at fk’end… It seems more of fk’s ignorance…

many big scams are happening daily ..where person who caught for doing amazon fraud told that they are many people doing same fraudulent activities. we don’t know many such kind of things jus becuase of not disclosed.

Buyer gets refunded as soon item reaches seller, then seller opens claim that he has received different item , that takes another 7 to 12 days to approve, in that time buyer gets his money .

i can just say that without inside man, this isn’t possible at this scale…

few months ago, one person was caught in this regard in Bhiwandi area who was working in Amazon warehouse and used to ship replaced items to his location…
later on, when someone complained and inventory check was done, he was caught

It’s been long time since I have returned any product to Flipkart but as my memory serves me right I remember I use to get refund the same day on which I returned the product to ekart guy. And always he use to open the box and check condition of the product before giving me receiving recipt.

Flipkart people aren’t noobs but by the time they realize what’s happened its like 30 days from the refund issue date
From my experience, myntra n flipkart people never check anything even amazon
I used to get refund approval the same day of item pick up

Fk never refunds it only replace’s the faulty or defective product i guess as it happened with me when i received a faulty zenfone.
