Hi. Anybody opened icici account online especially salary account ?

Its showing that go to nearest branch to open salary account.

what documents are required to open salary account ?

would offer letter of future date suffice to open salary account ?

Yes offer letter is fine. Visiting the branch is mandatory. They will check the employer code and verify your pan and aadhaar. That’s it.

I dont think offer letter would be required. all they need is employer code.

Yes, offer letter is mandatory. Company must credit salary within 3 months of account opening. Bank representatives usually call and tell that they’ll have to convert the account into savings account if no salary has been credited in last months. Carry Aadhaar, PAN and offer letter and you’ll be fine. You can show them digital copy of Offer Letter too.
