ICICI bank is not transparent about Cashback offering.

Finally after multiple mails & tweets I able to get my Cashback after more than 3 months. I was eligible for 10 CB on (on paytm mall) ICICI credit card & the same should be credited to card within 90 days but was not credited. I mailed ICICI regarding this & what I got reply was quite shocking. They told me that although the transaction was took place on 22 Dec, 2020 but payment processed by the merchant on 23 Dec, hence I am not eligible. Then I tried mailing them again but this time they are ignoring my emails. Finally I tweeted to ICICI which log my complain & after a week finally I received my cashbacks. IF was eligible it should be received within 90 days automatically why without any efforts my end.

Icici cashback system is v poor
I did first bill payment via Netbanking to utilize 100 amazon gv offer in Aug 2020.
Waited for 90 working days… Followed up with them many times… Then left the hope to get anything from ICICI…
same I called them on Apr 9 and they said service request registered and will credit the cashback on Apr 26.Not came till now, called them again and they say we will contact the concerned team 
ICICI only rewards the persistent.
If you keep complaining , they will keep giving silly reasons ,finally after >10 complaints they relent. 
Tweets are more effective than emails.
I use ICICI for instant discounts only.
I never trust ICICI for cashbacks.
In fact, I trust only Amex for cashbacks.
icici is a chor bank.
may be for CB but Axis is chor for everything including service.
I faced same issue and now understand issue is related to paytmall not bank, in my case it was YesBank and had utilized same offer 2 months that too for same amount.
And they did not credit CB even 1 time, after follow up 1st CB came pretty easy in a week. Next month 2nd CB did not come and complained, 1st they tried saying already issued(which was for earlier order) then few other excuses and finally this issue that txn settled outside offer date. I sent CC stmt where txn date was inside offer and asked them to clearly deny CBso that I can pursue with nodal officer and RBI within 2 days rcvd CB
at least ICICI agreed that there was an offer and u were not elgilble. in my case they directly refused here is my story :-
in 2k15 there was an offer if u use ICICI netbanking in fk then u will get 10% cb directly in bank in 90 days.
after 90 days when i contacted them they told there was no such offer.
ever since then i’ve only used instant discount.

Icici is best known for not honoring it’s cashback and gift voucher offerings !!!
