I currently have anICICI Platinum and Coral card(both shared limit,Coral paid) and AmazonPay card(separate credit limit).

I've had the Coral card for a good few years, and it had significant benefits earlier, and I didn't have any other cards at that time. Now I have a variety of cards, and the benefits on the Coral card are insignificant/withdrawn. Even the lounge access is behind a 5000/quarter spend threshold.

I don't really use this card, but I wanted to have this or a similar card for the bank discount offers, as there the Platinum and AmazonPay cards don't always work.

I don't like having to manage my spends just to get a fee waiver on the Coral card, so I'm considering getting just the Coral card closed, keeping my old credit account active with the Platinum card.

So I'm looking for suggestions here, is there any other ICICI card worth holding(free/paid) or is ICICI not really worthwhile anymore?

If you want an icici card for bank specific offers only than you can go for icici mmt platinum card which has a joining fees of Rs 590 and no yearly fees after that. First raise a closure request for coral than on retension ask them to convert it to LTF

I understand offers not working on the co-branded Amazon pay card, but I thought most site offers would work with the Platinum card.. Do they not?

You wont get Visa Signature offers with the platinum card, but sites having ICICI CC offers should accept Platinum..

In my experience, the base Platinum card is pretty much useless for offers. The bin range on the card is not included for any offers

For MMT Platinum, u can generate it instantly through the MMT link so just raise closure request and close it if they don't agree to make it LTF.

So as it turns out, I was randomly checking new card offers for me on the ICICI website, and I was eligible for a LTF Sapphiro card. 😄

I mentioned this to the cancellation team, and asked if they can simply upgrade me to an LTF Sapphiro instead of closing my old card, and they said that it is not possible to do so, as this was a new card offer.

So for now I've got my Coral card closed, and my Sapphiro card is in process.

Y'all might as well also check the offers sometimes. Apparently my relationship with the bank, salary and company made me eligible for the offer.
