What's up with ICICI? Anyone knows? Neither the app login or the net-banking page is opening since yesterday. Even the transaction pages are not opening for card transactions.
I have never seen ICICI staying down for so long. Asked in Twitter, zero response. Called customer care & was told I am caller number 108 something, even after being a Privilege customer.
I don't know what's taking them so long so fix this. I can only see my balance via GooglePay linked account & nothing else.

I saw even some other people are complaining about on Twitter, so I don't know what's going on.
I'm getting this below when trying to login to netbanking. And the app is showing "we are facing a difficulty processing your request"...
Just checked on mobile WITHOUT the WiFi...It's connecting fine with Mobile Data, lol... This is extremely weird, as I mostly use Laptop but even the transaction pages are not opening. Till yesterday afternoon, it was perfectly fine.

Try to change access point name/dns/wifi/operator. I also face issue sometime but not at this time
Dunno if it is related but ICICI is not working with VPN, even Adguard. Not able to login unless Adguard is disabled.

Can't change Wifi or the Operator just for ICICI, as I use a high speed Fiber Optic which runs everything well... Changing DNS & AP name didn't work.
I don't know what's wrong as I have no issues with anything else except this one. Also this issue only started to happen since yesterday evening, when I tried to place an order on Amazon using the AmazonPay card but the transaction was declined as the OTP screen didn't even come.
I just tried opening the netbanking login page using a VPN & it's opening fine with the same WiFi.
I think I will have to keep disconnecting until I get another IP from my ISP to see what happens with that. But this is weird as the login page is opening from a USA IP but not from my own IP.
all good and smooth here
ISP : Airtel

Perfectly opening with VPN, but not from my own/original IP.
Proof attached below. Opening fine with USA IP (VPN)
I can login without any issue with mobile data but not opening with WiFi. And I don't have any such Adguards in my mobile, but still not opening when WiFi is connected. Have to disable WiFi to login in the app...

Their wallet app pockets having thousands of issues since launch.

Yep. In the last month itself I must have come across at least a dozen "bugs" if not more. In one device Pockets accounts don't seem to work in Wifi. In another local VPN for ad blocking purposes like Blokada seems to be problematic though the stupid app doesn't post any warning unlike when using a real VPN.
Edit: No issue logging into ICICI Netbanking website over Wifi even with VPN.

But due to extremely bad experience with app, I have closed my full kyc pockets account..
Customer care didn't cared about me and shamelessly deleted my account.
They will never improve.

It's the buggiest app ever. I only started using it after OG SMS became a premium feature. I figured let one corporate pay for the greed of others.

Getting 175 in my min KYC accounts isn't an issue. Occasional issues with root detection, moving out money from the Wallet due to no IC SMS (being rectified with Jio port-ins) and hidden restrictions aside.
I still have it installed but I almost never used it lol... PayZapp has launched a newer/better /slick app version & is way better than the shitty pockets app.
I don't understand why ICICI netbanking & the app is not working with my ISP/IP when I never had this issue before & it's working when I am using a VPN lol.
Also banking apps like IMobile & IDFC are showing messages that my WiFi is not secure, as they want me to use only the WPA3 encryption on my router, but they need to understand that, we have lots of old WiFi devices at home which don't support WPA3 & won't be able to connect to the router, if we select WPA3 only mode in the router.

Pockets has set such a low bar that absolutely anything should be better than it.

I kept disconnecting & got another public IP from my ISP & now both the app & the netbanking working fine, lol...

So fed up with that.
Also you have to be in first 10 customers every hour became big headache.
Specially add money..
You can add 3000 only 3 time in a month as monthly limit is 10000 only.
If it doesn't count as first 10 customers you will get nothing.
So better to avoid such a Crap app.
No issues , was and is working fine all along ...
