Hi Guys, can anyone tell me how much does ICICI bank charges for FD cancellation ?
One of my FD matured yesterday and they auto renewed it now just fetching 5% interest so I want to cancel it its been only 1 day since renewal now what will they charge… Thanks in advance 🙏

No issue. Cancel the FD.
There is fine on interest amount not on principal amount
If you don’t want FD tomorrow rush to bank and ask them to close it. There will be no cancellation charge now. But few days later yes.
all banks have been permitted to auto renew FD because people used to delay and banks got free money to use.
Do note that paytm bank has a tie up with indusind bank where there is no premature closure penalty.
Hi guys, I cancelled it today after 33 days of FD renewal out of Rs.49000 I only received Rs.48888 back in my account can anybody tell me why thos for deduction was made I cannot understand this doesn’t add up to .5% penalty.
Rs.203 interest was goven for 1 month.
There is no charges, but you will not get intrest for 1 days.
