After request,
you need to call customer care and mention SR number to get RuPay platinum debit card,
Note - Customer support also said, you will get same card variant what you have currently.
But most of the time they issue by default visa card. So, you need to mentioned you want RuPay platinum debit card
Already 5 Add-on RuPay Platinum debit card successfully Applied, Dnt know how many Add-on RuPay Platinum debit card you can apply. One more thing, one card they issue RuPay Classic card. so, you need told them you want only RuPay Platinum debit card.

Yes but they will issue any add-on cards. Most of the time they will issue Visa card. 
After online request submit, you will get SR number.

how to open salary account with icici? how to I check if my company is in their list of corporates. I don’t want another savings account. Also, will it remain salary if i credit money every month from my citi salary account?
Crediting money from other bank account does not count as salary account. otherwise one would open salary account in every bank.
generally salary credit by company is a cms transaction not imps or neft.

Apne ulte pulte harkato k chalte admin ne ban kar diya usko. 
I called my relationship manager. She told that add on card is chargeable. She then told that if you want then replace existing visa card to rupay card and said there won’t be any charges. Let’s see.
Primary card or add-on ?
While calling cc ,should we ask them to modify existing SR to include comment for rupay.
Or something else should be done?

I told customer executive that I need only rupay platinum debit card only, no visa but in ipay mobile app new visa debit card is visible. The SR is already closed and the card is dispatched.
If it’s not rupay platinum then guys avoid time waste.

@abhishek012 bhai, same thing happened twice. every time ICICI issued visa variant and automatically closed the SR. Even after requesting customer care executives both time, they took notes for the rupay platinum variant but at the end issued same Visa cards. have to close both add-on cards now.
yup, all card add-on card now issue visa. 
One primary RuPay Platinum card and other add-on RuPay Platinum card -
I think that’s the reason he is always getting Rupay
Is it only for salary account? Can i use this service for normal saving account?
mine was salary account having visa, if i goto imobile > me > account details. shows account type as Savings, how to verify if it is still salary account?

Be aware, as has been mentioned above, once SR is raised, it’s best to call and mention that you need the same RuPay variant as you currently hold, else they may, and in my case did, issue a Visa card.
The primary master variant debit card which i am holding has 0 fees.
Are there any annual charges for this Rupay Platinum Add-on Debit card?

Mne abi call kiya or ek kisi process friendly ladki ne phone uthaya she said
First of all she said ki we cant modify service req
Secondly she said ki u applied for visa gold ..i said there is no option to select so she said ki by default it will pick Visa.
Secondly she said we cant modify request so u need to raise a fresh request by calling us
And she denied to cancel my current request as card is not generated so dont waste ur tym guys
