ICICI Salary account - Multiple Add-on RuPay Platinum debit card apply process

Downvoted for wasting my time and getting useless Visa.

@abhishek012 bro finally got rupay platinum primary & 1 add on card successfully. Previously had Visa as a primary card. So, I requested my RM to convert my primary card to rupay platinum. After getting the primary rupay platinum card, yesterday again I requested my RM to provide me another add-on card for emergency use. He successfully issued the platinum add-on card and it is showing now on my iMobile. RM said that every account holder can apply only 1 add-on card along with primary card. So, don’t spend your time for the online application procedures and contact your RM to get rupay card.

Warning – Please dnt issue add-on card, some ICICI bank employees mistakenly re-issued your primary card and all your add-on card getting blocked.

or apply for only one add-on card and before activate your card, please check your card is add-on or primary card.

Is this still working? What if I don't have a salary account in ICICI?

I have applied just now, in Sr description, it is showing additonal debit card for defence salary account. Shall I call cc and ask for rupay Variant, i am already holding rupay platinum dc. I have a wealth management account.

What will happen when they will apply for add on debit card, will it be Rupay platinum? Because by default add on card is supposed to be of same network as of primary card. Also, kindly confirm if add on card can even be requested through customer care or not? In that case it will be somewhat easy as we can directly confirm the same over the call.

Does anyone knows any trick for HDFC? Do they even issue Rupay platinum to customers on request? 

will icici bank convert salary acc to normal acc if I leave the company associated with icici bank? 

How the bank will know my status? Pls clarify thair internal working.

I created a request in the net banking portal and just after that called customer support and cx support guy even promised me that he has forwarded my Rupay request. It's been 4 days since the request, till now I can't see any new card details in the app. When I converted visa to rupay by using the trick on DD, it reflected in the imobile within 1 day. But till now there is no update on this add on request. 

Is it normal for add on card? Or do I did anything wrong. 

@abhishek012 How to know if card issued is add on or primary. I just raised request using net banking portal and that's it, I did not even called cx care, Checked in app and the card issued is Rupay platinum, but don't know if it is issued as primary or add on. Is there any way to confirm?

How many Add on Rupay Debit card you are holding now (ICICI) ?

I have now 5 add on cards, 1 rupay and remaining 4 are VISA, I tried my best with cc and twitter support but they all seem moron, nobody know how to do it. The guy who was able to help me in getting 1 rupay add on card ( Twitter support) is now helpless when I asked for another rupay variant also, he first said that only a user can have 1 add on card, but when I insisted he said, ok initiate request from your end, I will try. But He was not able to help, ICICI issued VISA only

This all seems quite impossible to me. Only VISA's are getting piled up.
