I just called and told them that i need Rupay Platinum card against this SR number. Thats it…dont know what all they did. They said we will update the request

I told customer executive that I need only rupay platinum debit card only, no visa but in ipay mobile app new visa debit card is visible. The SR is already closed and the card is dispatched.
If it’s not rupay platinum then guys avoid time waste.

Its resolved. The amount (not gv) added last month and earlier was lying there. So in Amazon pay we can add max 10k in a month and also there can be max 10k balance at any point of time

I met the same fate. Did you close the newly added card or raise another request or ignore everything now since it’s too much hassle?

@abhishek012 bhai, same thing happened twice. every time ICICI issued visa variant and automatically closed the SR. Even after requesting customer care executives both time, they took notes for the rupay platinum variant but at the end issued same Visa cards. have to close both add-on cards now.

CS told me to contact branch or RM to upgrade the add on card. They can’t take request to upgrade from their end for the add-on. They can issue the primary card but in the case of add-on card, it will automatically generate from system’s end. 🥺 that’s why he can’t take upgrade request & told me to contact my branch.

This is strange. An add-on is supposed to be of same variant as base card, not sure what ICICI debit card section is doing in the name of add-on card.
