I want to change my Idea Sim to Jio without changing my number. What should I do for it, what’s the procedure and is it free or paid ??

DO NOT SEND THE PORTING CODE VIA CALL OR TO NOT TRUSTED INDIVIDUAL, BE PHYSICAL PRESENT (lot of scams by taking the ownership of sims)

What did you see in jio but not in VI ? 
3 letter word (JIO) is more powerful than that 2 letter word (VI) 
Transparency makes the jio a real winner.. where VI still fails and stays behind. (As per my opinion)
To port into JIO you will need to pay at least 248(99prime+149plan)
First recharge any plan + 99rs will be charged… 99rs mean prime membership for getting jio cinema jiotv jio saavn apps

What am I missing here to boycott jio? What is it we are looking for in other networks?
Ya, I also want to know what’s the perspective behind boycotting Ambani and Adani. Adani’s earns most from electricity and energy sector. Don’t know how they are related to food. Do enlightenment me here.
Sometime back people were asking others to boycott Chinese phones/goods in every second thread and now boycott Jio. People love to play these boycott games. And the funny thing is people were still buying Chinese phones & now people will still be porting to Jio.
It all boils down to providing better product or service than your competitor and people will come to you no matter who you are. When it comes to profit or loss people tend to overlook emotions(well, in most of the cases). So, let people decide themselves what product or service they want to choose.
Why should we bother if the money goes to Ambani or Mittal. Go for what suits you. Airtel Idea used to loot us before Jio arrived so competition is good.
Boycott business are for people affiliated with so or other political party. Common man has noting to do with it.
People are playing politics now!
Recently Jio filed a complaint to TRAI since lots of people ported out from it due to rumours/political reasons!
PS. I’ll also port out from Airtel, since I can’t see any benefit…No data and nothing. These people even cut off the connection if I don’t recharge within 5 days.
PPS. Some English Bhakts are well wishers of farmers though!
Ported from airtel to jio 3 days back. Guy took only 99 rs for 249 rs FRC. Ordered from 10digi. Guys was telling he has to complete his target so he is giving discount on recharge. I dont know. I thing jio is giving first recharge free with 99 rs plan.
So how much you paid in total?
