No one covered the news yet so most probably they just started adding online delivery feature
Mumbai (All locations should have it) + Pune should be there too as IKEA is having a distribution centre there

Hey guys! Has anyone managed to apply any working coupons while buying online?

Good luck to you with coupons!

IKEA has messed up their online Mumbai delivery bigtime, for all products deliverable online to Mumbai they used to show up as deliverable on the product page but after you add it to cart it becomes not deliverable to the exact same pincode and this has been happening for atleast 2 weeks if not more.

Since last week the error is shown on the product page itself that they have a huge deluge of orders and come back later to order.

What’s funny is that this error shows up even on the exclusive catalogue of items that they had curated specifically for Mumbai and for all Mumbai pin codes.

Such a big company, they took their own sweet time to get started and such a shabby implementation!

I agree. I got a mailer from them this morning to shop online and then I saw all the mess you have mentioned.

I called their call centre earlier today and I was told to try shopping from day after tomorrow! How funny is that!

Some home page banners show X price and when you land on the product page the price is higher!

It looks like their tech team has no clue on how to run an ecommerce store!

Sad man!

I finally managed to execute a fairly large order from IKEA online in Mumbai last month after several attempts. If you feel the ordering process is harrowing wait till you get to returns!

For the majority of items I was satisfied but for a couple of items I felt the quality to be very poor so got in touch with aftersales folks and this is where experience goes downhill quite fast

Apparently for any assembled items they will take it back only after deducting a depreciation cost, even for others they expect you to have things unopened in the original package if you plan to return I fail to understand how folks experience items if they can’t open packages.

Now all this in stark contrast to their seamless returns claims within the 60 day period. In my case they asked me to send snaps of the product to determine the depreciation charges

Depreciation cost starts at 30% of the item cost and on top of that they would also charge you return pickup charges which starts at 200, with such terrible policies I doubt how many folks would return items, perhaps this is what they want in the first place, such a sham!

Ikea wont run in Mumbai until they bring some policies like free delivery, No questions ask returns and no pickup charges like Amazon
Ikea wants to do business like US in India, but they won’t be successful
