Impact of Upgrade/Downgrading/Flipping the CC variant on CIBIL

Please clarify, how changing the Variant of your credit card can impact one’s CIBIL score?
Most banks open a fresh and brand new account in CIBIL for the new variant Credit Card with fresh and current “Date opened”. This closes the older variant Card account and probably stops consideration of its associated good payment history and specifically it’s AGE, from the calculation of the latest score.
Is the payment history/Age of a CLOSED account (>3 years ago) also considered for the calculation of score?

Immaterial on CIBIL
No effect , btw which card you flipping , cobranded cards cannot be flipped AFAIK
Already flipped a RBL Card today for lower fees, and they gave a new account number (Not CC number).
Let’s see if they open a new account with older “Date Opened” or just edit the account number.
Also guys, kindly clarify, if we CLOSE an account, IS its age considered OR the age of OLDEST ACTIVE account is ONLY considered for score computation, after 3 years?
For sbi they open new account but with same old date so no effect hdfc only change card number no new account not having experience with others
