I've received an offer for updating my current "preferred" salary account to " imperia". Their sms mentions it will be free of cost.
Has anyone done this before? Any new benefits or charges to lookout for after the upgrade?

Can do it... No extra charges or anything. Only additional benefit I could get from it was a free locker.

@everev if you dont mind what your avg/range monthly salary credited? and total parked amount ?
I never got such upgrade offer though its been 8 years with them and since 2017-2018 I am on preferred.

The only benefit i feel worthy is the higher cash deposit limit in non home branches of the bank. Occassionally one may need it

what changes is color scheme in internet banking ... rest everything remains as-is
the odds of getting a locker is very less in populated cities ... if you're not using their demat, it won't even affect you ... it basically narrows down to color and badging changes in internet and mobile banking
