Be it Stray Dogs or Pet Dogs there are increasing cases of dog attack. Personally I escaped at least 2-3 times from a Dog attack.
A 2016 BBC article- India has some 30 million stray mutts and more than 20,000 people die of rabies every year. Last year, Global Alliance for Rabies Control reported that India accounted for 35% of human rabies deaths, more than any other country.

Dog owners may enjoy the company of their dogs and feel proud of them as they protect them but what about others?

Both agencies and pet owners are responsible. This may not sound completely ethical but neutering is a must for dogs in human habitat regions (decent numbers). Just last year noticed 4/5 just-born dogs in front of my apartment main gate and i was pretty sure that this isn't any coincidence. Some dog owner dumped them at random places just because he/she cannot handle them and these turn out as strays and fight for food/survival make them violent
I got bitten by one recently when I was coming home after a walk & this dog very silently came out of nowhere & bit on my leg from behind.Even though I am never afraid of dogs but since then I do keep an eye on their behavior even if they are sitting silently.
just throw them into the houses of so called pet lovers/kutta NGOs 😤
And not just stray dogs but cow, meow, pigs, beggars/people abandoned by their relatives

I'm glad to see this topic posted today. Last night I was having a discussion regarding dog attacks with a friend when a passerby happened to listen to us and stopped to give his opinion on it. His niece was bitten 2 days ago by a stray dog who was fed by a neighbor. He totaled the neighbor for obvious reasons but the pain and bite marks tell the sad story of how badly she was attacked. I could see almost 12-15 bite marks all over the jawline and right cheek of the 3-year-old kid. The pic could increase anyone's temper immediately. So yeah, it's necessary to take strict action against stray dogs and dog owners/feeders.

Always keep chilli spray with you when pass through dog areas whenever you see any dog approaching you welcome him with chilly spray on his eyes, dikhna band ho jayega and ktta let jayega ab chahe usko Maro ya kooto

Check the last dog. He is the alpha here. And he doesn't look into my eyes. That dog won't take either any pets or close contacts. He is looking away because he respects me. And I do the same to him. They used to chase me down while I was running. There were two alternatives. Either kill em or make friends with em.
That brown dog is not with us anymore. A more decided to give her poison. She died a very painful death. 😔 I rescued the puppy from a well. @drupal edit: uss poisoner was punished. 🙂
