In my opinion, Yes...!!!

Provided you hold your investment for a long term say minimum 3 to 5 years...

You will definitely going to get decent return in long term compared with the rate of return on FD or even a growth / appreciation and returns to be received on real estate...

Not doubt, there has to be a diversification of investment...

But considering are young age, we can have 50 to 70% investment in the market in the form of equity, shares, mutual fund, SIP and so on...

That means we are screwed but we still managed to grow because we have a huge population and they need to eat, wear chaddi, needs a place to stay and brush their teeth.
