Phonepe is always low on security for me. I used it in past but started receiving fake calls to receive rewards. Then uninstalled it but still receive fake calls.

Most probably it’s bcoz your upi link must be your mobile number with phonepay extension, I had faced similar problems in past but now I edited my upi link and replaced my mobile number with my first and last name. Since then never received any calls from cheaters.

I agree. Its also a multi bank upi app. There is a famous hindi song “डाकिया डाक लाया” thats why possibly people can understand. Its famous.

I didn’t think of this song ,but the first song that came in my mind after reading dak was " sandeshe atte hai ,vo chitti atti hai, tum kab aaoge joy" even though there’s no mention of dak in this but don’t know how it came in my mind.
